It is reported that Ohio based AK Steel has announced to cut its alloy surcharge for stainless steel products for July 2012 delivery.

After the adjustment, its July 2012 alloy surcharges for 304 grade stainless coils are at USD 0.7948 per pound, decreasing by 6.2%; that for 201 grade is at USD 0.5482 per pound, falling by 6.8% and that for 316 grade is at USD 1.1601 per pound, declining by 5.7%, all compared to that for June 2012.
